Sovereignty Logo

Dimensions: N/A

This logo is for a clothing brand that focuses on surfing/ beach wear clothing. The name of the brand is called Sovereignty because it represents freedom. I wanted to find a word that describes how I feel during my beach / snorkeling trips. The logo icon is a thresher shark. Ideally, I imagined this shark as an elegant creature because its flexibility and swiftness helps it avoid dangerous situations.

Early Bird Subscription box

Dimensions: 11” x 14” x 4.5”

Early Bird is a subscription box for organic bird seeds and a few other essential bird items for your feathery companion. This is a work in progress concept that will develop over time, and will be printed pretty soon. This is in the prototype process.

ColorFind App Design

Dimensions:
mobile - 375 x 812 px
website - 920 x 1080 px

The ColorFind me app is an app idea created by me, as well as the UI & UX design of the app. This app accesses your camera to take pictures of anything that has a striking or interesting color. Once you take a picture of whatever environment or object with that color, the app extracts the color you want from that image(s) and makes a color palette based on the image(s). From there you can download that color palette and import it to any art or design based software like adobe creative.

Pearl Rebrand

Dimensions: N/A

This is a rebranded logo and design concept for an apartment complex in east Fort Lauderdale. The original brand, to me, felt like it was missing representation and meaning behind it. I took a approach where it represents Fort Lauderdale's east coast beaches and stuck with an ocean color scheme. I have designed a pattern, business card, merchandise, and a few other things not yet shown.

FAU Website Redesign

Dimensions: 1920 px to 1080 PX

I've redesigned the Florida Atlantic University Arts and Letters Department website. FAU has strict webpage layouts when they have their employers update their page, but I do not necessarily agree them. I made a website of my own to show a redesign of the Arts and Letters Department, but did not follow these layout requirements because they restrict creativity and expression throughout their website. This website gives students, parents of students, and alumni information about admissions, student aids, events, important contacts, and their academic majors within the department.

100 Things Poster

Dimensions: 36" x 24"

This is a poster of 100 kinds of carnivorous plants in the world. The infographic is in the shape of a Venus Fly Trap plant. The icons in the mouth of the plant indicate the kind of trap plant, how common they are and their risk of endangerment.

TV and Child Advertising Infographic

Dimensions: 23” x 8”

This infographic focuses on the relationship between television ads and children. The statistics are thoughtfully expressed in the way that best suits them. The color scheme and general themes are based on the ‘No Signal Tv Test Pattern’ which are these bar patterns you see when your TV loses connection.

M ≠ C Poster

Dimensions: 1080 px to 1512 px

This poster advertises an art lecture that took place at University of Pittsburgh. The design concept of the poster is both modern and contemporary. The University logo was edited to match the color scheme of the poster.

Wim Crouwel Magazine

Dimensions: 8.5x11 inch pages

I’ve created a magazine that focuses on the life and the work of a legendary typographer: Wim Crouwel. The design concept for each spread of pages are based on his more popular works. These pages heavily emphasize type and structure.

Typography Imagery Dictionary

Dimensions: 7 x 7 inch pages

This book was designed to teach people about type anatomy. I have highlighted certain parts of type and separated them from their characters in order for the reader to identify that anatomy just by the shape alone. The covers are designed by a pattern made by those highlighted and separated anatomy parts in the book.
